Line of Merlin
The Line of Merlin is often believed to originate with its namesake, the legendary wizard of Arthurian times. But its roots run far deeper, and it's true origins have never been determined. Some scholars say that the Line of Merlin comes from a liaison between a human and an ancient god. Others believe it began with a human who developed magical powers by some strange mutation. Whatever its origins, the Line of Merlin is held mostly by humans and a modest amount of half-elves.
